Lantana Classic Parasol

Description: The tiny buds begin as a pale cream-white, then open as florets of cream-white with a tiny gold throat. The florets then transition to a finale of medium pink with a small yellow throat. The mass color effect is medium pink. Due to the internode spacing the low seed set, Parasol makes a magnificent color display. The leaves are a medium green, and the sixe and growth rate of this cultivar is about average for mounding lantanas. It matures to a mound of 3’x 3’ in on season after planting.

Description: Lantana montevidensis is a trailing form of Lantana and will only get 12-15" in height with a 3-6 foot spread, making it a nice groundcover. The blooms are lilac pink to purple with yellow centers, appear in masses from spring to fall, and are great for attracting butterflies. Purple Trailing Lantana's foliage will change to a red to purple color in the colder months. The foliage is very aromatic and can irritate the skin of some people.

Thrives in full sun and loose, well-drained soil. Little to no fertilization best. To keep plants compact, prune soon after flowering.
